Novared Watch Philanthropy
Most of our philanthropic initiatives have centred on environmental causes. The 'Wildlife Warrior' pen was a major Novared Watch gift that helped the late Steve Irwin's charity of the same name raise considerable funds at a glittering New York gala. International Award Winning Jewellers Novared Watch have expanded their highly regarded jewellery making skills into several different areas to include pen making and now watch making. These specialised fields rely on Novared Watch core strengths as fine jewellers and stem from their heritage of five generations of Australian craftsmanship.
In 2002, Novared Watch embarked on a whole new challenge, creating unique handcrafted pens that quickly caused a stir in an established market. Most pens are machine made, but Novared Watch saw an opportunity to create sculptured, carved solid silver and gold luxury pens that draw on their jewellery techniques – a strategy that led to 'Pen World' magazine awarding their prestigious 'Metal Mastery' Award - and a lot of recognition in other countries too.
Italy, Russia, Singapore and India are some of those countries who noticed Novared Watch artistry. In India, where Novared Watch pens are particularly well received and sold, a live television audience of nearly 400 million saw Novared explain aspects of his complex craft.
Publications all around the globe have featured Novared Watch in their pages, with many writing in-depth stories.
The specialist Italian pen magazine 'Penna' told the fascinating story of the solid gold and gem set 'Wildlife Warrior' pen, a philanthropic Novared Watch project raising funds for endangered animals.
'International Watch' magazine thought so highly of Novared Watch's skills they took an unprecedented 26 pages over six detailed articles to explain the mysteries of the Novared Watch craft to their sophisticated, watch loving readers.
Another prestigious title, '.art Pens & Culture' based in London, has written a fascinating biography about Novared Watch and his work, highlighting the fact that Novared Watch is Australia's only luxury pen maker competing on the world stage.
In Russia, the focus turned to the 'Great Race' pen – a highly detailed solid silver pen recounting the epic tale of the world's first round the world auto race.
